reported by ChozinOn Thursday, 2/7/2008 at the Baker Center, the Center for Southeast Asian Studies in partnership with the Dr. Shao You-Bao Overseas Chinese Documentation and Research Center showed an Indonesian movie tittled Mengejar Mas Mas (2007, 94 min., Indonesian w/subtitles).
The show was a part of a new film series to be held every two weeks. This series aims to not only introduce the public to modern Southeast Asian cinema, but also to how some (Southeast Asian) films represent and incorporate the Overseas Chinese. The series is FREE
