Another Great Performance from Permias Angklungers

on Thursday Dec 4, from 4:45-5:15PM in Baker Center Ballroom 4th Fl Team of Angklung PERMIAS performed in front of a group of 350 gifted 12-14 year olds from Southeast Ohio. They played two songs; Edelweiss and Do-re-mi (OST of Sound of Music).

As you know, Angklung is the traditional instrument from West Java. Before starting the 1st song, Mia, the Indonesian elementary student presented about the Indonesian Cultures. Afterward, between the two songs, Arin (president of Permias) was hosting the Quiz and gave away some souvenirs. The audience were very excited to answer the questions, because of their curiosity or because of the souvenirs?? :D. The last song was followed by the audiences claps. If you were there you can feel the atmosphere of the Ballroom in Baker were warm and fun because they get to sing together.

Last but not least, we would like to thank to everyone who has made the performance happened. Thanks to all of the angklung's players, the guitarist, and the leader
(from left) Pak Yojo, Pu, Faishol, Anton, Eny, Efka, Mia, Riri, Tolhas, iTa, Asih, Tsuy, Popo, arin, and for all of the never stop support from Mas Eko (for your time in helping us taking pictures and taping our performance n during rehearsal/practice which resulting professional videos to consume), Bu Yojo, Mb mila, mb aishah, gugun, and other Permias members.
